Low confidence in mobile payments reported

Trust is declining among mobile device users when it comes to purchasing or downloading apps . A survey of mobile users in countries (including Mexico) found that the level of trust is degrading because payment systems are believed to be unsafe or an online service or merchant is not trusted. Mobile users are also concerned about having to share too much information when downloading an app . Risk perception on mobile phones With improved mobility and flexibility at work comes increased safety risk. This lack of trust grew the most in the United States. In all areas it jumped from among American respondents. The last survey was carried out in the third quarter of , but was made public last week.
