Sedentary work, characterized by long hours of sitting, has become a growing trend today. This is due to the use of new technologies that allow tasks to be carried out remotely or automated. A sedentary lifestyle at work carries a series of health risks, including: Obesity:  A sedentary lifestyle reduces caloric expenditure, which can lead to weight gain and obesity. Cardiovascular diseases:  A sedentary lifestyle increases the risk of suffering from cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol. Depression and anxiety:  A sedentary lifestyle can contribute to the development of psychological disorders, such as depression and anxiety.

To reduce the risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle at work, a series of tips can be followed, such as: Ergonomics:  Make sure your workspace is designed ergonomically.
